Lane is on blog vacation so it’s my turn to write about the cellar-greenhouse project created with her name on it. Photos tell more of the beginning of this project. We have money limits so some of this project was done with means not everyone would understand or do.
The location was a difficult bank to maintain next to the garden. No money for a large yellow digging machine so I became the machine with the exception of at the end. The person who does the road work for our road system was coming up and stopped by to finish removing several stumps I had started digging out. Twenty dollars for ten minutes was reasonable.
The rest of the dirt came out with a pick, shovel and wheelbarrow. Dirt distributed in various places more dirt would help for maintenance or travel. Dimensions of this foundation are eight by sixteen..
