This was originally intended to be posted last week however on Wednesday I cut my hand bad enough that it still keeps me from full work. Then to add insult to injury, as they say, I had the opportunity to do a total reinstall including full format of disk on Thursday. This kept me full till Friday and then on Saturday I discovered two Trojans. After solving this on Sunday I found another. This was followed by loss of telephone privileges on Tuesday after the most energetic thunderstorm I have ever experienced right over our head most of the night. We finally got the phone back yesterday evening so here is lane’s post.

Last night here on the mountain we had a horrific storm. She is referring to the one on Tuesday; One of the worst, if not the worst, electrical storm in her memory. The storm started around ten forty pm and lasted till after two am. The storm would go away and then it would come right back again. It kept going around in circles for a very long time. It seems like it came back a little harder each time it returned; Lots of thunder which was very loud and even more lightening. There was a lot of popping and cracking in the house. It was scary, she tells us. It knocked out the phone and lane is hopeful that’s all that was lost; so far, so good. The storm left two and three quarters of much needed rainfall. It will probably finish off what’s left of the tomatoes. They were severely damaged by the rain we go a couple of weeks ago from hurricane Fay. We got nine inches from that. Can’t have everything is her guess. Its either tomatoes or rain and she’s had lots of maters and now lane’s happy for all the rain.
